MS Access
How can I make Access open a specific form when the file is opened? Rather than being presented with tables, reports etc.
RE: MS Access
Dear Rob
Thank you for attending Access Introduction course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
Yes it is possible to open a certain form as your start-up database object!!
Please follow these steps:
1. Open the database file where you would like the form to appear.
2. Choose the Tools > Start up...
3. In the Display Form/Page drop down arrow choose the form that you wish to appear when the database is opened! Press OK.
Close the Database and if neceassary close teh entire Access program.
When you open the database you'll notice that the form you set up in the start up dialog box opens automatically.
I hope this has answered your query.
If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!
Kindest Regards
