How do you create a button and assign it to run an existing macro?
Hi Helen
Thank you for your question.
To create a button on your spreadsheet, bring up the Forms toolbar on your screen. Locate the Button icon and click it once. Then bring your cursor onto your spreadsheet, hold down your left mouse and drag diagonally to draw the button onto your spreadsheet.
The Assign Macro dialogue box should appear on your screen. Select the macro you wish to link to the button and click OK.
Finally the button will display the default text 'Button 1'. Highlight the text 'Button 1' using your mouse and type over it to replace the default text with the text you want displayed on the button.
I hope this helps.
Amanda
