Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
The most simple way to be able to filter a column is using AutoFilter.
To show an AutoFilter dropdown next to a column, select a cell within the column which has some data in it; then go to Data - Filter and choose AutoFilter.
Filtering is covered as part of our Excel Intermediate course.
