Conditional Formula.

If I got a formula and I dont want blank to appear but zero when does it not apply for my logical test or my value conditional, what shall I write on the formula?

RE: Conditional Formula.

Hello Estrellita

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

I have attached an example of an Excel spreadsheet to my reply here, that I think demonstrates what you are referring to.

If you have a look in the column where you can see 0.00 showing (column D), you will see formulas in these cells which makes the cell display zero if there is nothing entered into columns B or C.

Basically the formula is saying if what is in the cell in column B is empty (=0) or what is in the cell in column C is empty (=0), then display 0 in column D, otherwise multiply what is in column B by what is in column C.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

P.S. If you log into your delegate account on our web site www.stl-training.co.uk then you will be able to see 'Courses you have attended' and there will be the option to download the reference material for Excel 2007 Intermediate, by clicking on the little folder icon.

How to Spell Check an Excel 2010 Worksheet

Excel 2010 does not automatically spell check a document. So, here's how to manually spell check a worksheet.

Either select the ''Review'' tab in the Ribbon, go to the ''Proofing'' section and click ''Spelling.'' Or, simply press F7.
