Excel Advanced course
I need to extract all the entries from an excel database which all have the same word in their description. This word could be in any position within the description so I am unsure what feature to use to be able to do this (MID, LEFT, RIGHT need the word to appear in the same position). hAVE LOOKED AT =FIND but unsure how to use this & if it is the answer. Thanks,
Sarah
Hi Sarah
Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
I think you can get this to work using an advanced filter.
I have attached an example for you to look at.
I hope this helps.
