i am a bet confused with the dolar singh

Hi Maria how are you

I can give you more info on the dollar signs in Excel, the main reason that you would use the dolloar signs is if you want to use a permanant cell address so that excel will always look to the one place for a certain part of a formula

there are three different ways to use the dollor signs these are listed below

$D$4, $D4, D$4

These work as follows: $D$4 will remember column D and row 4 meaning remember the cell and always look there

The $D4 work by remembering the column D and not remembering row 4

D$4 will then only remember the row 4

Try creating one of these and then copying this down then making changes to the values
