Excel Training – Hiding Worksheets

Worksheets that you don’t want other people to see or that you don’t want to delete but just don’t want to be visible, can be hidden. To hide a worksheet…

  1. Right click on the worksheet tab of the worksheet you want to hide
  2. Select Hide from the list 

Straight away the worksheet will disappear. Should you want to make it visible again…

  1. Right click on any worksheet tab

Select Unhide from the list .

Excel Training – Copying and/or moving worksheets

If you need to make a copy of a worksheet, rather than copying and pasting you could…

  1. Right click on the worksheet tab
  2. Select Move or Copy from the list and a dialogue box will appear.
  3. Select where you want the sheet to be positioned
  4. Click in the check box beside Create a copy
  5. Click OK
