We understand the vital importance of effective time management when it comes to improving productivity, quality and morale in the office, but wanted to discover how employees are really managing their time in UK workplaces. To find out, we conducted a survey of 1,000 UK adults in full-time employment, aged between 18 and 65.
The results of this survey demonstrated just how important time management training is amongst UK workforces. Despite 65% of employees describing their time management abilities as 'excellent' or 'very good', our survey found that over 70% of respondents have completed work-related activities outside of job hours in order to stay on top of their workload, and 68% of employees do not use any kind of time management system on a regular basis.
The findings of our survey suggest that employees may be struggling to manage their work schedules effectively, often overestimating their time management abilities and costing UK business money. You can find the full results of the survey below:
