Creting new graph templates

Hi

I need to biuld a graph that works of two axes as a bar and a line chart so that I can compare two peices or data that correlate to each other but have different scales.

This isnt available in my graph options but I have used it before on previous computers as a template so think I need to build it as a new template.

How do I do this?

Thanks

Lyndsey

RE: Column Line 2 axes graph

Hi Lyndsey,

Thanks for your question.

I am not sure if it is necessary to create a template for this case. But try the following steps first:

    1. Select all the graph data
    2. Select Chart Wizard
    3. On Step 1: Chart Type, switch tab to "Custom Types"
    4. Scroll down the list for "Line - Column on 2 axes"
    5. Press NEXT and follow the rest of the wizard to create the chart

See if this is the result you want, if not I still have another way to achieve this.

Excel tip:

Difference between Two Dates

The DATEDIF function computes the difference between two dates. The DATEDIF function is as follows:

=DATEDIF (Date1,Date2,Interval)

Please note that Date1 must be less than (earlier) or equal to Date2

Please note that Interval must be one of the following codes: "d" (in days), "m" (in months), "y" (in years) expressed in quotes
