I have a two page document with headers and footers, but i only need header and footer on first page....how do i remove it from second page???
RE: Headers
Hi Donna, Thank you for your post, In answer to your question; In a new document or in your existing document; Ensure your insertion point, (Cursor) is on the first page. Go to Menu command Page Setup, in the dialog box under the Layout tab, choose the option Different First Page, this will apply the Header/Footer to that option, then Create your new Header and Footer as normal (Menu command View, Header and Footer) or delete the existing Header/Footer text from the second page, close the Header Footer view, your Header/Footer should now just appear on the first page. I hope this helps, best regards Pete.
