Section Breaks
I am putting together a report where I want to include a wide chart that is best viewed in a wide format (landscape), while the rest of the Report is in vertical (portrait). How can I do it?
RE: Section Breaks
Answer to the question: To do this you will need to create a Section Break for that page;
1 Click the insertion point at the end of the page where you wish to change the orientation (eg from portrait to landscape).
2. Choose menu command Insert, Break
3. Under Section Break types, to start a new section on the next page, select Next Page. (To put text into columns in the middle of a page, select Continuous, To create a section on next even-numbered page, select Even Page, to create a section break on next odd-numbered page select Odd Page).
4. Click OK
5. A section break is inserted. In Normal view you will see the Section breaks. You can make changes to orientation, margins, page alignment, etc. for that section.
6. To return to original format for the next page, click insertion point at the end of the new section, then choose menu command Insert, Break, under the section types, select your chosen type, select Next Page and then click OK.
