Table of contents
Can I set a table of contents where headings in the table can be clicked on and jump to that section of the document?
It is a word document not a web page so the hyperlink as described in the 'help' pages does not work for me.
I would like it to retain page numbers but have highlighted / underlined description so it can be used to 'jump to' the required section.
RE: Table of contents
Hi Vicki
By default this should work automatically. In your document insert your table of contents as normal.
Once the table is created hover over one of the items you want to jump to and keep your mouse pointer still. Look for a tooltip near your mouse pointer that tells you to use Ctrl+Click to follow the link. On your keyboard press the control key (lower left hand corner) and then left click with the mouse on the link you want to follow. Word should move you to the relevant section in your document.
Let us know if you have further questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew
