Why do we need to use the office Clipboard and how?
RE: Office Clipboard
Hi Joan
Thank you for your question.
You do not have to use the Clipboard, it is just one option that you have available to use when moving or copying data.
Normally when data is moved or copied, the data will be cut or copied and then pasted; and this process repeated until all editing has been done. The Clipboard allows you to 'collect' or store cut or copied pieces of information and then paste each item one after the other. It also represents the cut or copied information in a visual way - you will see a snippet/preview of each cut or copied item when it is on the Clipboard.
If you are using the 2002 or 2003 version of Word, you will find the Clipboard in the Task Pane area (appears on the right hand side of the screen).
I hope this helps.
Amanda
