Macros

How can I record a macro to automatical sign off to a latter? Can I put it to a keyboard short cut?

RE: Macros

Hi Dominika

Thank you for your question.

Yes, you can record a macro to do this.

Go to Tools - Macro - Record new macro.

Enter a name for the macro (it must not have spaces in it) and also at this point you should be able to create a keyboard shortcut to run the macro.

Once you have done this and clicked OK, Word will start recording so you can type in your sign off and then click the Stop Recording button.

The macro should run fine - you just need to have your cursor sitting in the letter at the point where you want the sign off entered.

Changing text to subscript

If you are working with text and numbers and want to convert the chemical symbol for water H20 so that the 2 is lowered, you can highlight the number 2, click on Format-text and check on the Subscript box
