Page numbering of a word document
Hi,
I am trying to add page numbers to a report and when I do so, I set the start at to begin at 0 so that the first page is not numbered.
But, scrolling down the document, one of the pages, page 8 is landscape and then that stops the following pages from being numbered.
In other words, the page numbering does not affect the other pages all the way to the end of the document.
What do I do, please? How do I make sure that the whole document numbers are consistent?
You gave me a speedy response when I had my last question. I appreciate your help.

RE: Page numbering of a word document
Hello Kanayo,
Thank you for your question. Firstly, in Word, please turn on Show/Hide (the button in middle of the Home ribbon to the left of Styles). Next, scroll down to page 8. I predict that there will be a "Section break - Next Page" visible at the bottom of page 7 and also at the bottom of page 8 (or top of page 9). These divide the document into 3 sections, which messes up page numbering.
On page 8 (the landscape page), double click in the header or footer section (wherever the numbers are). You will see the Header and Footer Tools ribbon above. In this ribbon there is a "Link to previous" button. To make sure that all pages are numbered, select "Link to previous" on pages 8 and 9. This will link the headers of page 8 and the pages after, to the pages above and your numbering should continue.
I hope this helps!
Kind regards
