List of figures
How can you include a list of figures in a document? I have created the figure labels using 'CAPTIONS'. There are around 20 diagrams in the document. How can you list them similar to the TOC
RE: List of figures
Hi Sam,
Thank you for the forum question.
If you click on Table of Figures on the References tab in the Captions group you you will similar to TOC get a list of the captions.
I hope this can help you.
Kind regards

RE: List of figures
Sorry Jens, still not sure how.
I have over 15 graphs in my document.
Below each graph, I have used the Caption option to label the graph.
What I want is to be able to list the Figures similar to TOC at the beginning of the document.
If I go to 'Insert Table of Figures' as you suggest, it has 2 sections web view and print view. Not sure what you do next.
RE: List of figures
Hi Sam,
Yes that is true. It is very similar to working with TOC. You will need to have your mouse course in the document where you want the Table of Figures. In the Table of Figures dialog box you only have to look at the left side.
If you have a look at the list Formats: under General you will find different design options. If you look in the Print Preview window you will see exactly what you will get in the word document.
You can create you own style for your Table of Figures.
When you have decided for a style click ok.
The Web Preview window shows how your Table of Figures will look like if you convert your word document to a website.
Please let me know if you need more guide lines.
Kind regards
