PowerPoint Introduction course
Please could you go through how I would lock a PP template so that others can not use fonts / styles outside of the master slide (without knowing the password) Thank you
Hello Joanna,
Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft PowerPoint Introduction course with Best STL.
Thank you for your question regarding locking a PowerPoint presentation.
If you apply a modify password to a presentation template a user who does not have a password can only open the template as read only. They therefore cannot do ANYTHING with the presentation so a pointless exercise. Only users with a modify password can actually use the template and of course may change anything they like.
Users should be advised by your organisation to use the template as is and not modify styles and formatting etc.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Rodney
