Inserting picture

I am trying to a quick parts building block that will allow me to insert 2 separate pictures side by side in a word document. I have drawn my two rectangles, added two text boxes below and grouped them together but when I go to insert a picture it inserts across both boxes. Is there a way just to insert it into one box?
Thanks

RE: Inserting picture

Hi Gary

Thanks for getting in touch. I'm just trying to replicate your issue. What type of shape are you using to hold the picture - and what method are you using to insert the picture?

Kind regards

RE: Inserting picture

Hi Gary,
I have drawn a rectangle, then duplicated it and positioned it with a space between the rectangles.I have then drawn a text box on the bottom of each rectangle and grouped them together to let me position it in my reports easily.

The method I am using to put the pictures in is shape fill.

Thanks

Gary

RE: Inserting picture

Hi Gary

Thanks for clarifying. I've recreated your objects as I believe you have them and they seem to be behaving as expected. Please find my version attached.

Is this what you're trying to do? If so all I can say is to be absolutely certain what is being selected before choosing the fill command.

Kind regards
