MS Excel stays "on top" the desktop, blocking all other programs

Happy New Year and Hi,
I switched on my machine for the first time this year after 10 days off.
MS Excel now stays "on top" the desktop, and blocks all other programs until it is minimized.
No other program is affected like this.
This is proving to be a nuisance especialy now that we are in year end.
regards
Jason

RE: MS Excel stays "on top" the desktop, blocking all other prog

Hi Jason

Thanks for getting in touch. Happy new year!

That's a very strange issue. I'm not sure what could be causing that. It sounds like something that your IT support team should investigate as it is not normal behaviour.

Kind regards

RE: MS Excel stays "on top" the desktop, blocking all other prog

Thanks Gary,
apparently I'm not the only one in our office to experience that.
Another colleague has also reported the same behaviour with MS Outlook.
i've Googled it and this seems to be an issue with some users (the MS suite).
On a positive, on this occasion I closed Excel, rebooted, and problem seems to have been resolved.
regards
Jason
