Spelling and grammar

Is the spelling and grammer the same on email and excel as on word?

RE: spelling and grammar

Hello Sandy,

Thank you for your question regarding spelling and grammar settings for Excel, Word and Outlook.

Please take a look at the options for each of the these applications and you will see that they all use the same dictionary, however, Word has more settings than does Excel. Outlook uses Word as it's mail processor so it follows the same settings as Word.

To find the options, click the Office Button and the options button is located at the bottom of the dialogue box.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Word tip:

Moving Tabs where you want

This is a Word only tip.

When you are moving tabs using the ruler the pain is that they jump, but if you use the ALT key and then click on the tab it will allow you to move it anywhere you want.

The best bit about this shortcut is that when you press the ALT key the ruler changes and show's you actual tab margin sizes.
