How do I draw lines between free standing boxes that I have added to an organisation chart?
Hi Joyce,
Thank you for your question.
To draw connecting lines between boxes you have added to an organisation chart you will need to select the 'Line' tool which can be found either on the 'Home' tab or 'Insert' tab, from either location select the 'Shapes' button.
Once selected this will present a menu of different shapes available. Within the 'Lines' section select the relevant connecting line, i.e line, arrow, double arrow etc.
Once selected your cursor will change to a hairline cross when on the slide, click on to the relevant position on the box, holding down the left mouse button and drag the line out to the destination point.
Once drawn out you can ammend the length using the sizing handles located at both ends of the line.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post.
