Can you take charts from excel to powerpoint with VBA?

RE: Charts

Hello Hardeep

Thank you for your question.

If you want to insert an Excel chart into a PowerPoint slide and have it linked so that any changes made to the Excel chart are reflected in the PowerPoint slide you can use the Insert Object tool, to do this:

- create your chart in Excel, ensuring it is on the first worksheet & save the workbook.
- In PowerPoint open the Insert tab and select 'Object'
- select the 'Create from file' option & browse to the location of the Excel workbook.
- tick the 'Link' checkbox (if not ticked, the chart will embed itself on the slide.)
- to activate the chart within Excel, double click the chart on the Powerpoint slide, this will immediately open the Excel workbook

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post.
