Internet

I keep getting the question "do you want to continue to run scrips on this page". If I press yes or not I still get the same window appearing and don't know what it relates to.

RE: Internet

Hi Maria, thanks for your query and welcome to the forum. Your problem could be a problem with the website you're trying to view, or it could be a virus on your machine. However, try this first before approaching IT about a virus scan. Bring up the web browser (Internet Explorer) and got to the Tools drop down, then Internet Options, the Advanced tab and tick "Disable script debugging" and un-tick "Display a notification about every script error". Apply the changes, restart the browser and see if that makes any difference.

Let me know how you get on,

Anthony

RE: Internet

Funnily enough Anthony I have not had this problem since I last asked you. This problem related to my computer at home and I had a problem last week with the mouse freezing and having to keep shutting down and opening the computer. I couldn't even do alt, contrl, delete. Anyhow I ran a program to clean up the drive (I believe it was) and de-fragment and since then the computer is not freezing and I have not had the scrip message appear so maybe this resolved the problem. Thanks anyway.

Keeping words together in the same line

Word will automatically wrap text itself to create new lines.

You can force Word to keep words together when they are separated by either spaces or hyphens by creating non-breaking spaces or non-breaking hyphens.

To create a non-breaking hyphen, use Ctrl + Shift in conjunction with pressing the hyphen key.

Non-breaking spaces or hyphens will not split between lines.
