Protection and filters

Hello

When we apply protection we seem to lose the facility to use data filters....is there any solution to this problem please?

RE: protection and filters

Dear Liz

Further to your forum post we would need to see your working files and an itemised list of the issues you are facing.

We can then review and see if we can assist. If we can find a solution we will let you know the scope of work and any associated costs to complete.

Please feel free to send the files to me direct.

Excel tip:

Hide separate columns in Excel 2010

If you want to hide columns not adjacent to each other for example, Columns A, C and E then:-

1) Click on the fist column to be hidden i.e. A

2) Press and hold down the CTRL key

3) While holding the CTRL key, left click on the rest of the columns you want to hide i.e. C and E

4) Right click and choose Hide
