Different headers and footers
I have to have a different first page header to the rest of the document (which is fine) but need the footer to be the same on the whole document (in other words first page header different, footer same for entire doc).
RE: Different headers and footers
Hi Elsa, thanks for your query. When you constructed the different Header you will have put some section breaks into the document and then taken off the "Link To Previous" option from Header on page 2. The Footer has a "Link To Previous" option as well, if you leave this set as it is the footers should be the same throughout the whole document. Just be careful where your cursor is positioned when you take off the "Link To Previous".
Hope this helps,
Anthony

Word tip:What are Section Breaks and How do we Insert them in Word 2010?Section Breaks come in use when you want to change the layout of a Word page, for example, maybe you want to change it from portrait to landscape or separate a document into sections to make it easier to number the pages or maybe you want to have a two column layout rather than a single column. |
