What is different between MS Works and MS Word? I have Works on my laptop and I dont really see the functionality difference? Thanks a lot for some details.

RE: Word 2007

Hi Beatriz, thanks for your query. Essentially, MS Works is a cut down version of office software, usually supplied on new laptops where the purchaser hasn't specified that Microsoft Office 2007 should be installed. There's quite a good overview of MS Works here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_Works

...and you should note that it is about to be phased out! Basically functionality is compatible with MS Office, but check on your own machine what software you have got because that will affect how you send material to yourself between work and home machines.

Hope this helps,

Anthony
