Logical Functions (i think)

I am looking to perform the following:

- If a particular cell contains a value (text / number) then show this value in a different destination cell.

- If a particular cell doesn't contain a value (text / number) then leave the destination cell blank.

I've had an attempt or two but am struggling.

I need this for a report i am looking to submit by close of business today.

Thanks in advance

Jeff

RE: Logical Functions (i think)

Hi Jeff

Thank you for your question

You are indeed correct in your assumption that an if function is the correct way to go. I have created a sheet with a simple example of what you describe.

I suggest that you select a cell that contains one of the IF functions and active the paste function tool to see how it works

If you have any other queries, please feel free to repost

Stephen
