Repeat actions
Is there a way to easily repeat an action, eg formatting a cell
RE: Repeat actions
Hello Evelyn
Thank you for your question.
There are a couple of ways of repeating actions, depending what you want to do specifically.
For example, if you colour a cell green, then you want to colour another cell or cells green, select the cell/s and then press F4. The F4 key repeats the last action you took, so if the last action was to colour a cell green, this will be repeated on pressing F4.
If you colour a cell green, bold the data in the cell, and increase the font size, then you can use Format Painter to carry all formats from one cell to others.
To do this, select the cell with the formats you want to copy to other cells; then click the Format Painter button on the Home tab; then click on the cell you wish to copy the formatting to. To use Format Painter on multiple cells, double-click Format Painter before clicking on the cells you wish to copy the formatting to.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards
Amanda
