Link excel file to slide
I would like to link only a certain sheet in an excel file to the slide, I do not want anyone to be able to see other sheets in the excel file, is it possible to do it?
RE: link excel file to slide
Hello Heather
Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
A link to an Excel file in PowerPoint will open the whole Excel file, so if you don't want people to be able to see the other sheets in the file it might be best to make a copy of the specific sheet you want them to see; and put this in another workbook.
You can do this quickly by right-clicking on the tab of the sheet in the Excel file, and selecting the Move or Copy option. Select the sheet to copy; select New book from the To book dropdown; tick the Create a copy box and click OK.
Kind regards
Amanda
