We have a letter we print out for all new clients, it has a signature section at the bottom. I want the signature section which is about 7 lines to remain together on one page and not to be split over two. As the text in the letter can be of varying lenths, this signature section can get moved around. How can I have it treated as one piece of text? So if there is not enough room for it on one page, all of the text will be moved onto the next one?
Thanks
Polly
RE: Word
Hello Polly
Thank you for your question.
The feature I think you need to use is called 'Keep with Next'.
Firstly select all the text that you would like to keep together.
If you go to the Home ribbon, and click the small arrow in the bottom right corner of the Paragraph group of buttons; then select the Line and Page Breaks tab and tick Keep with next; then click OK.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards
Amanda
