Formatting columns on a page

Is it possible to auto format a page so that it calculates the column width which best fits a page rather than trial and error

RE: Formatting columns on a page

Hi Sue

Thanks for your question - I'm not aware of a way of auto-formatting the column widths to take into account the page size. I think your best option will be to use the View menu to switch to Page break preview. This at least shows the columns and the page breaks. Whilst it won't auto fit you can drag the page breaks to accommodate your data.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Excel tip:

Paste a web address into the hyperlink address field

If you copy a web address the only way to paste into the address field of the hyperlink box is to use CTRL + V. Right click paste does not work.
