Section breaks

How do you change the document layout for part of a document ie from portait to landscape without creating a blank page?

RE: Section breaks

Dear Nicky

Thank you for attending Word Advanced Course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

Normally when you insert a Next Page section break ensure that you are at the bottom of the page the page where you want the section to start from.

Please refer to the file that I have uploaded with this post. You'll notice that I created a Next Page Section break at the end of Page one and end of Page two because I wanted only the second page to be landscape.

Or alternatively if you get confused with the section breaks simply select the text you want in Landscape and then choose File > Page Setup... On the File Page Setup dialog box simply choose Landscape but please ensure that from the Apply to Drop down list simply choose selected text. MS Word will automatically insert the next page section breaks in the relevant places.

Tip: To get to the Page Set up dialog box you can double click on the grey part of the ruler.
I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards
