Headers and footers

how can I enter headers and footers throughout a whole workbook please?

RE: headers and footers

Hi Liz,

Thank you for your question.

If you select your first sheet tab, hold the shift key down and then with the shift key still held down, click on the last tab. The document is now in Group mode.

Navigate to the Headers and Footers and insert the desired information.

Then ungroup the sheets by clicking on one of the other sheets that are not bold and make sure the Group text is removed from the title bar at the top of the screen.

I hope this answers your question.

Regards

Simon

Excel tip:

Reset Excel toolbars to default settings

If you find any of your toolbars in Excel have changed (i.e. they are missing or have extra buttons) then you can reset them to their defaults.

1. Go to Tools - Customise.
2. Select the Toolbars tab.
3. Select (highlight) the name of the toolbar you wish to reset, then click the Reset button on the right.
4. Close the dialogue box.
