Progress

how do i show actual progress (start / finish dates) on my task bars without doubling the size of my programme?

RE: Progress

Hi Saul

You could modify your bar styles:

Format > Bar styles

then edit your task style, on the text tab, to display the values you are looking for alongside each bar on the Gantt chart

Alternatively, once you have baselined your project switching to the Tracking Gantt view will show you the original project and your current project progress on the same display.

Hope this helps, let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

MS Project tip:

Autofit column width – Project (all versions)

At the top of the columns where each column name is located (Task Name, Duration, etc.), hover over the vertical column line which you want to move.

A short bold vertical line will appear, with horizontal arrows pointing left and right.

Left click and hold this icon and it will permit you to grab the column line, allowing you to move it left or right to your desired location.
