Can you do any sort of pie chart on Word?

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.
Yes, you can create charts within Word.
If you go to Insert - Picture - Chart, a sample column chart and corresponding data sheet will appear on your page.
If you go to the Chart menu, select Chart Type, then select Pie and OK, the column chart will change to a pie chart.
Have a look at how the sample data is arranged in the datasheet in order to create the pie chart. Once you have figured out how the data entered into the datasheet is represented in the pie chart, then you can replace the sample data in the datasheet with your own data.
