I have been using the tab button to move forward in the outline of my numbered lists i.e. To change 2. to a. or a. to i.
But, recently, the tab key works only intermittently.
Please could you advise.

Hmmm, this sounds quite strange.
Does anything in particular happen when you press the Tab key and the numbering level doesn't adjust?

Word tip:Showing different heading levels in the document MapIf you have created your document using Styles on your headings then great they appear in the document map, but if you have lots and want to minimise them to say show just all level 1 headings right click in the document map and part of the outline toolbar shows allowing you to choose your level headings you want to view. |
