How does excel add up values? And how can you copy the value?
RE: Values
Hello,
My name is Greg Eze and I am one of the trainers at BEST.
In order to add up numbers, you use the SUM function. If you are adding up a row of numbers (e.g. from A1 to E1), in cell F1, you type in =SUM(A1:E1)
To copy the value, you need to do is to right-click on the cell which has the answer, select Copy, go to another worksheet, right-click, then choose Paste Special (not Paste), then choose Values radio button.
I hope this answers your question; please contact us if you have any further problems or questions.
Thank you
Greg Eze
