Trend analysis
What are the best tools for different types of trend analyses?
RE: Trend analysis
Hello Philip
My name is Greg Eze and I am new to Best training.
In terms of trend analysis, the way to analyse the trend is to:
1. Draw the column chart first.
2. Click on one of the bars so that all the bars are selected.
3. From the Chart option on the Menu Bar, choose the Add Trendline option.
4. You can choose the trendline that you wish to use then click OK. If you wish to display the formula or the R-squared value (some statistical value), you can choose the Options Tab and choose Formula and/or R-squared value before clicking ok.
The type of trend you choose from the trend options depends on what shape your data is and how you wish to analyse it.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you
Greg

Excel tip:Customize the toolbar in Excel 2010You can create your own toolbar which contains your favourite or most used tools. This will make using Excel much more efficient. To do this, you need to click on View, then select Customize Quick access Toolbars and then select Customize. A list of tools will then appear on the screen of which you can add or remove them as you please. |
