Dear Lesley
Thank you for attending the Word 2007 intermediate course. I hope you enjoyed the course.
I am not sure if youy mean the splitting the pages or the columns equally.
If you meant Columns then please follow these steps:
Select the data that you want to split into columns.
Choose Page Layout tab on the Ribbon
On the page layout group choose column and select either two or three columns. (the columns will be equal by default).
If you want to specify custom width for the coulmns then you need to choose More Columns... option from the drop down list.
