Can you turn on a automatic file save function in access

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your post:
To answer your question: To my knowledge Access saves each entry as soon as you leave the field, whatever you do to the Database it will automatically save the new information without confirmation.
When you leave the database it will prompt you for any changes to the structure of the database to be saved, this could be overcome by writing a macro which will both save and exit when you close the database.
