File Saving

Can you turn on a automatic file save function in access

RE: File Saving

Hi Bill
Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your post:
To answer your question: To my knowledge Access saves each entry as soon as you leave the field, whatever you do to the Database it will automatically save the new information without confirmation.
When you leave the database it will prompt you for any changes to the structure of the database to be saved, this could be overcome by writing a macro which will both save and exit when you close the database.
I hope that has helped, regards Pete

Access tip:

Modal forms

If you have created a form / switchboard and dont want people to get away from using the switchboard, you can change the form properites for Modal to On.
