Autocorrecting spacing
Is there a way of being able to set up an auto correction for automatically changing double line spacing to single line spacing between sentances, but at the same time keeping double spacing between each paragaraph?
Thanks
RE: Autocorrecting spacing
Hello Katie
Thank you for your post.
The only way that springs to mind of doing this straight away is to create a macro that selects all the text in the document, then applies the line spacing you want to the entire document.
You can create a macro using Tools - Macro - Record new macro. Give your macro a name (with no spaces, Word won't accept the name otherwise) and then once you have done clicked OK, go through the steps you would need to take to do the above (select text and then apply spacing).
Once you have finished go to Tools - Macro - Stop Recording.
To run the macro, go to Tools - Macro - Macros, select the macro and click Run.
