Datasheet View in Access

Sometimes I do not see the number of records on the navigation bar until I scroll down. Why is this?

RE: Datasheet View in Access

Dear Ben

Thank you for attending Access courses. I hope you enjoyed the courses and are finding the topics covered during the training useful.

The typical reason for this is when your database window is restored (not full size).

See if you can see the maximize button (which looks like one square). Please note that there should be two One for the Database file and the other one for the Table window.

The navigation bar can be see when the window is maximized. If however you do want the Table window to be small then you have to drag the blue bar (title bar) of eth table window towards up until you can see the navigation bar!!

I hope this answers your query! If this has answered your question then may I please request you to mark this post as resolved!!

Many thanks

Kindest Regards

RE: Datasheet View in Access

Hi Rajeev,

Thanks for your reply. I very much enjoyed the course and hope to enlist for the advanced in the future.

I think the issue I am seeing is when using Access as the front end for Oracle. I tested the theory on all of my own Access databases and indeed I could see the number of rows from the very start.

Thanks and best regards
Ben

Access tip:

If you have created a form / switchboard and dont want people to get away from using the switchboard, you can change the form properites for Modal to On.
