Dates in baseline

how can I check date of baseline if I have updated my tasks with just a couple of new ones. I.e. I would like to see my original baselinedate and my baseline date for the couple of new tasks

RE: Dates in baseline

Hi Jo

Thanks for your question. You can run more than one baseline field in your table quite easily. Try right clicking on a column heading and choosing insert column and choose one of the baseline fields you are interested in. Eg Baseline1 start or Baseline2 start

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

MS Project tip:

Set default task type - Project 2010

a. In Project, click on the File tab
b. Select Options from left hand side
c. Click on Schedule to set the scheduling options
d. Set the Default Task type box to your chosen option
i. Generally if you plan/estimate your projects using durations you should use fixed duration, and untick the box New tasks are effort driven, if you plan/estimate with person hours use fixed work, or for plans estimated with the proportion of resources time use fixed units, and untick the box New tasks are effort driven)
e. Click OK to apply your changes
